Association Town-Hall Video Platform Development for Topeka Teams

Association members need a clear way to join a meeting, follow the host and contribute questions. Staff need to know who can control the room and what happens to the material afterward. We help Topeka associations design member video products around those distinct responsibilities, from room entry to an agreed post-event experience.

Our Inspire Film work, recorded in Spain, includes a LiveKit-powered virtual cinema with host-controlled session steps and individual member responses. That live-session delivery provides a relevant technical reference. An association question queue, moderator handoff and replay approval flow would be newly scoped features. Curiosive combines AI-accelerated implementation with engineer review and ongoing product partnership.

Define the host, moderator and member responsibilities

Map the meeting format before selecting room controls. The host may advance the shared session while a moderator reviews incoming questions; ordinary members may only join and contribute. Decide whether those staff roles can belong to one person and how a handoff works. Keep room membership separate from publishing permissions. Review the invitation and entry states for an expected member, an expired session and someone without access, using the association account model approved for the project.

Relevant work: Inspire Film live sessions

The published Inspire Film case describes a React and TypeScript platform using Supabase and PostgreSQL, Bunny Stream for adaptive video with captions, and LiveKit for virtual cinema sessions, live screenings and events. Hosts control session steps while members answer individually. The Spain-recorded project also includes membership checkout and administration. That is evidence of delivered live-session and membership work; association question moderation and replay publication decisions are requirements to design for a new Topeka engagement.

Give each question an understandable state

A member submitting a question should know whether it reached the queue. Staff need an agreed distinction between received, selected, addressed and held questions. Decide which information other members can see and whether duplicate topics can be grouped without losing the original submission context. These are proposed controls, not promises that every contribution will be read aloud. AI can help implement the agreed queue interface; the association retains ownership of moderation decisions and the language shown to members.

Separate live recovery from replay publication

Agree how a reconnecting member finds the current room step and whether a submitted question survives that interruption. Ending a meeting needs an explicit member destination and an understandable staff state. If recording is included in the scope, define its ownership, review process and approved audience before building replay publication. A closed room and an available replay are different product states. Engineers review session synchronization, role boundaries and failure recovery while AI accelerates familiar interface and integration work.

Review the member room and the moderator queue separately

For a new engagement, bring an approved meeting format, role definitions, access rules and sample questions. Proposed acceptance examples: an invited member joins the intended room; a reconnect returns to the current host-controlled step; a submitted question stays distinguishable from one selected for discussion; and ending the live meeting does not automatically publish a replay. Include a moderator change and a member without publishing permission. These are proposed association checks, not claims about historical Inspire Film question moderation, meeting recording or replay approval features.

Keep improving the member experience together

Recurring meetings reveal confusing entry paths, repeated staff tasks and participation controls that need refinement. Curiosive works with your team on a shared backlog, agreed acceptance examples and reviewed releases. Monthly AI-accelerated development starts from $2,000, with scope, capacity and operating responsibilities agreed in writing. Curiosive LLC collaborates remotely with Topeka teams through agreed Central-time review windows, with engineering led from Ankara. We remain a product partner as meeting formats, membership rules and staff workflows change.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Can you build a member video platform for a Topeka association?

Yes. We can scope member entry, host controls and participation workflows around your approved meeting format and existing account system.

How is Inspire Film relevant to association meetings?

The Spain-recorded case includes LiveKit live sessions with host-controlled steps and individual member responses. Association moderation and replay approval would be new requirements.

Can a moderator review questions separately from hosting?

That can be an agreed feature. We define role permissions, question states and staff handoff behavior before implementing the queue.

Can you support the platform after the first event?

Yes. Continuing work can address member feedback, staff tools and recurring meeting changes through a shared product backlog and reviewed releases.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

Looking for an engineering partner for the long haul?

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
