AI is the future. In the right hands.
AI-written code has earned its reputation: quick to produce, expensive to own. Leaky permissions, silent data bugs, dependencies nobody vetted, a codebase that nobody on the team can safely change.
None of that is inherent to the tools. It is what happens when nobody in the room has operated the thing they are generating. We have been shipping production software for more than five years, most of it before a model could write a line of it, so we know exactly which parts deserve suspicion.
We are not slower than an AI-first shop. We are just still accountable when it is three in the morning and something breaks.
