Auditional: audition tracking with cross-browser import
An audition tracking platform for actors, with browser extensions for Chrome, Safari and Firefox that import auditions from Actors Access and Casting Networks in one click.

The product problem
Actors receive audition requests across several casting platforms. Keeping a record means copying details by hand into a spreadsheet or notes app, which is easy to skip and hard to analyse later. Auditional gives actors one place to log auditions, callbacks, holds and bookings, and to see patterns in that history, without retyping data that already exists on the casting sites they use every week.
The delivered scope
Auditional is an audition tracking and management platform used by more than 2,000 actors. Cross-browser extensions for Chrome, Safari and Firefox import auditions from Actors Access and Casting Networks with one click, and other auditions can be added by hand. The web application tracks status and deadlines and presents insights on auditions, callbacks and bookings. Svelte, TypeScript, Firebase and Tailwind CSS form the stack.
Removing data entry with an extension
The extension exists to solve the hardest part of tracking: getting the data in. Reading audition details from the casting platform the actor already uses turns a manual chore into one action. For a similar product, map where the user's data already lives before designing forms, and plan for each browser's extension rules from the start rather than porting later.
