Live Community Platform Development for Los Angeles Teams

A topic card can bring someone into a conversation, but the product still has to help them understand where they are, join the right room and return without losing context. We help Los Angeles media and community teams connect discovery to dependable live interactions across the supported web and mobile clients.

Our TrendinChat project, recorded in Türkiye, gives trending topics their own chat rooms. React, React Native, Supabase and WebSockets support the product, with Grok AI integrated into it. Curiosive brings that delivery experience to a new scope with AI-accelerated development, engineering review and a long-term relationship around the community's evolving needs.

Give every conversation a clear topic and destination

Decide where topics come from, who can approve or edit them and what makes two topics distinct. A visitor should understand a room before joining it. Agree the information on the discovery card, the room's stable address and what appears when a shared topic is no longer open. Categories can help someone browse while direct links let an existing member return. Begin with a focused discovery-to-conversation loop before adding a broad set of feeds, notifications and recommendation surfaces.

Relevant work: TrendinChat's topic-based rooms

The published TrendinChat case describes trending-room discovery with category filters, short summaries and country context. Each topic has a shareable room address. TypeScript, React and React Native form the client stack, with Supabase and WebSockets behind the conversations and Grok AI integrated into the product. The portfolio records TrendinChat in Türkiye. This is evidence of delivering a connected real-time product; its scope does not establish a Los Angeles client location, moderation outcomes or a release timetable for another community.

Define what a message send and reconnect mean

Real-time interfaces need clear state. Decide when a message is pending, accepted or failed, how repeated requests are handled and what history a returning participant can see. Specify the supported behavior when a phone loses its connection or two clients are open at once. The account and room-access rules should apply behind the interface as well as on it. Review those cases on the actual supported clients so a smooth demonstration does not hide gaps in the complete conversation journey.

Give AI and community operations their own scope

Agree what AI contributes: a topic summary, a discovery aid or another defined task. The owner of topic information should approve the source and review criteria. Separately define staff actions for reported content, room closure and account access if the product needs them. A model integration does not establish those operating workflows. Start with approved topic examples, then review what participants and staff see when information is missing, a room closes or an automated step fails.

Review one topic from discovery to a live conversation

For a new engagement, bring approved topic examples, the room lifecycle and supported client sessions. Proposed acceptance examples: a topic card opens the matching room; a shared room URL returns to that room; a repeated send follows the agreed duplicate rule; and reconnecting restores the agreed message window without moving the member to another topic. Review the empty and closed-room states. These are proposed checks for your community, not additional claims about TrendinChat's historical synchronization or moderation tests.

A product partner as the community changes

After release, member behavior and staff work reveal which improvements matter. We can keep the discovery interface, live interactions and operational tools on one prioritized backlog. AI accelerates implementation and exploration, while engineers review data behavior, client consistency and release checks. Monthly AI-accelerated development starts from $2,000 with scope and capacity agreed in writing. Curiosive LLC collaborates remotely with Los Angeles teams through agreed Pacific-time review windows, with engineering led from Ankara. The partnership can continue across new room types, client releases and maintenance work.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Can you build a live community product for a Los Angeles team?

Yes. We begin with topic ownership, room access and one complete conversation journey. Agree which web and mobile clients the first release supports before expanding discovery and community features.

What does the TrendinChat project demonstrate?

The published scope covers topic-room discovery, shareable rooms, real-time conversations and React and React Native clients with an AI integration. The project is recorded in Türkiye and used as delivery evidence for a separate Los Angeles engagement.

Must the community use AI?

No. AI-accelerated engineering is how we help build the software. AI inside the product is a separate choice that needs a useful task, approved information and review criteria.

Can you maintain web and mobile clients together?

Yes. An ongoing engagement can cover agreed client releases and shared backend work. Define supported platforms, review capacity and operational ownership in the written scope.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

Looking for an engineering partner for the long haul?

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
