SaaS Onboarding Software Development for Massachusetts Teams

A customer can watch an introduction and still be unsure what to do inside your product. Useful onboarding connects a human explanation to the task in front of them. We help Massachusetts B2B SaaS teams build that connection across the application, browser and administration workflow.

Reveal Software, recorded in Romania, is our full stack reference: a Next.js web app, a browser extension that overlays video walkthroughs inside another product, and an admin dashboard backed by a shared server and database. We bring that delivery experience into a new scope for your team, alongside AI-accelerated development and an ongoing product partnership.

Define the customer task the walkthrough supports

Start with a task a new customer needs to complete: finding a setting, understanding a workspace or beginning a first project. Decide who creates the explanation, who approves it and where the viewer encounters it. A walkthrough should have a clear relationship to an account and a supported product context. If your host interface changes, the team needs to know which content is affected. Agree the initial journey before adding a large library, reporting dashboard or many targeting rules.

Relevant work: Reveal across web, browser and admin

The published Reveal case covers a monorepo with a Next.js web application, an extension that overlays walkthroughs inside a product, and administration for users, roles and activity. React, TypeScript, Hono, Drizzle ORM and PostgreSQL form the shared stack. It is evidence of connecting several product surfaces to a backend. The portfolio records Reveal in Romania; it is not a Massachusetts client claim, and the case does not establish an activation, retention or conversion improvement attributable to the engineering work.

Share the account model across every surface

The website, extension and admin area should agree on who owns a walkthrough and who may view or change it. Specify how a signed-in web account becomes a supported extension session, how access ends and what an administrator can do. Keep those permissions enforceable behind the interface. A visible edit button is not an access boundary. Choose the first account roles and supported browser contexts explicitly so the first release proves the complete product behavior.

Plan for the host application to change

An overlay operates inside an interface it may not control. Agree where it can appear, how a viewer closes it and how it behaves alongside forms, menus and keyboard navigation. Decide which pages are supported and what happens if the expected target is absent. Keep browser permissions tied to the intended task, and name the owner of packaging and release work. Check representative host pages before each extension release instead of assuming that a single working demo covers all customer configurations.

Accept one walkthrough from creation to viewing

For a new engagement, bring a representative host application, an approved walkthrough and the account roles that create and view it. Proposed acceptance examples: an authorized creator saves the agreed walkthrough; the intended viewer can open it in the supported browser context; another account cannot edit it; and a changed host page or interrupted load shows a recoverable state. Check how administrators disable access. These are proposed checks for your onboarding product, not additional claims about Reveal's historical release tests.

Stay close to the product after onboarding launches

Your first release will expose questions from creators, administrators and customers. We turn those into a prioritized backlog and keep the architecture, content workflow and extension aligned as the product changes. AI helps accelerate implementation; engineers review the code and the agreed end-to-end behavior before release. Monthly AI-accelerated development starts from $2,000 with scope and capacity agreed in writing. Curiosive LLC collaborates remotely with Massachusetts teams through agreed Eastern-time review windows, with engineering led from Ankara.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Can you build onboarding tools for an existing SaaS product?

Yes. Bring the customer task, host application, account model and content owner. We can scope a focused walkthrough experience and its administration rather than beginning with a replacement of your SaaS product.

Did you build the whole Reveal workflow?

The published scope covers its connected web application, browser extension, administration and shared server and database. It is a Romanian portfolio example used to frame a separate engagement for Massachusetts teams.

Does onboarding require a browser extension?

That depends on where the walkthrough needs to appear and who controls the host application. An extension is one delivery option. An owned application may support a different integration; discovery should compare those paths before choosing.

Can you measure improvements after launch?

We can agree the events and review process your team needs to observe the customer journey. Baselines, data access and interpretation require explicit scope, and the Reveal case is not a promise of a particular activation or retention result.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

Looking for an engineering partner for the long haul?

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
