Virtual Cinema Platform Development for Florida Teams

Your audience may watch a documentary alone, join a hosted screening or continue into a guided experience. Those journeys share content, accounts and access rules, but they do not have the same playback behavior. We help Florida documentary and membership teams build a virtual-cinema product that connects the journeys without losing the details of each one.

Our Inspire Film project, recorded in Spain, combines adaptive film streaming, live screening rooms, guided experiences, memberships and payments. We use that delivered scope as a reference for your own platform. Curiosive brings AI-accelerated development, engineering review and ongoing product collaboration to the work after the first launch as well as before it.

Start with the viewing journey you need to support

Choose whether the first release serves an individual viewer or a scheduled group screening. Map how that person finds a film, checks access, begins playback and reaches the next experience. A member's right to view content is different from a host's right to control a room. Name the owner of film assets, captions, descriptions and publication decisions. If the catalogue already lives elsewhere, review its export and update workflow before committing to a migration. Make the initial catalogue useful before broadening the event model.

Relevant work: Inspire Film's virtual cinema

The published Inspire Film case describes a React and TypeScript application with Supabase and PostgreSQL. Bunny Stream handles adaptive film and course-video playback with captions. A short questionnaire drives recommendations for guided audio, video or text experiences. LiveKit supports live screenings and events, alongside memberships, Stripe checkout and administration. The case is recorded in Spain. It demonstrates these connected product capabilities; it does not establish distribution rights, a Florida client relationship or an attendance result for a new service.

Separate member access from media delivery

A video host can deliver a film while your application still needs to decide who may open it. Agree the relationship between an account, its membership and the films or events it can access. Plan what the member sees after an expired entitlement or a failed playback request. Keep access rules consistent across the catalogue, player and event page. Asset rights, geographic restrictions and vendor settings require business decisions and explicit implementation scope. Treat a visible play button as the start of a workflow, not proof that every access path is correct.

Give the host control without losing individual progress

In the Inspire Film case, the same guided-experience player supports solo use and a host-led room. The host decides which step the room is on while each member answers in their own session. For your platform, define what is shared and what remains individual. Consider a late arrival, an interrupted connection and a host who needs to pause or recover the room. Agree how schedules are displayed across time zones, including which local event time is authoritative. A small rehearsal with representative participants can expose these questions before a public event.

Agree one complete member viewing experience

For a new engagement, bring an approved film, its captions, access rules and one representative screening event. Proposed acceptance examples: an eligible member can begin playback; an ineligible account sees the correct next step; captions remain selectable on supported devices; and a host's step change reaches the intended screening room without changing another room. Include recovery from a disconnected participant. These are proposed checks for your platform, not additional claims about Inspire Film's historical acceptance process.

Keep improving the platform between screenings

After launch, your team learns where members stop, what hosts need and which editorial tasks take too long. We work from a prioritized backlog and release small, reviewed improvements. AI accelerates implementation and exploration; engineers remain accountable for access behavior, integration decisions and release quality. Monthly AI-accelerated development starts from $2,000, with scope and capacity agreed in writing. Curiosive LLC works remotely with Florida teams through agreed review windows, with engineering led from Ankara. Event-day coverage and support responsibilities are agreed explicitly for the engagement.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Can you build both on-demand viewing and hosted screenings?

Yes. The Inspire Film case covers adaptive viewing and live screening rooms. For a new build, we agree which journey comes first and define membership access, host controls and recovery before estimating the release.

Is Inspire Film a Florida project?

The portfolio records Inspire Film in Spain. We reference its delivered virtual-cinema capabilities as relevant work for Florida teams, with a separate scope for your own platform.

Do we need to move all films before launching?

A representative initial catalogue can be enough to review the complete member journey. Bring the existing asset source, rights decisions, captions and editorial workflow so the migration can be phased around approved content.

Can you stay involved as memberships and events grow?

Yes. We can continue through a monthly product partnership with agreed capacity and a shared backlog. Hosting costs, event coverage and operational response responsibilities are defined separately in the written scope.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

Looking for an engineering partner for the long haul?

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
