One React Native codebase for Iceland's iOS-heavy market
With iOS holding about 60% of mobile operating system share, we build both apps from one React Native and TypeScript codebase, give iPhone testing priority and still treat Android as a full release, not a port. Coding agents scaffold screens, navigation, list rendering, form validation, unit tests and first drafts of store metadata. Engineers keep the parts where mistakes reach users: session tokens in the Keychain on iOS and the Keystore on Android, auth refresh, entitlement checks on the server and behaviour when the connection drops and returns. The Android build also has to meet Google Play's current floor. Since 31 August 2026, new apps and app updates submitted to Google Play must target Android 16 (API level 36) or higher, so we set that target from the first build rather than discovering it at submission.
