Software Development for Dutch Teams Extending Existing Products

Updated

An established product does not always need a new backend to improve its interface. Curiosive's published portfolio records Lizzt in the Netherlands: a Next.js frontend rebuild that kept the existing Supabase backend and brought event planning, participant workflows and guided AI into one interface.

We work remotely from Ankara, Türkiye. For Dutch teams with an existing application, the first scope should identify what already works, which workflows need change and how a release will be checked. Lizzt is a delivered project example, not evidence of a local office or a guaranteed outcome for another product.

Can we keep the backend and rebuild the interface?

Lizzt's published scope retained Supabase while rebuilding the frontend in Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The product covers event tasks, costs, chat, files and participant actions. For a similar change, map current API and database contracts before implementation, and identify the workflows whose behavior must remain intact during the transition.

How do we review access when multiple people share an event?

Start with the actions each role can perform and the data each participant may read. Supabase documents Postgres row level security as a database authorization mechanism, with grants and policies that need their own tests. This is guidance for scoping a new or existing Supabase project; it is not a claim that a particular policy has been audited in Lizzt.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Will you replace our database by default?

No. Inspect the existing backend and identify the change required by the user workflow. A frontend improvement does not by itself justify a database migration.

Can you work with an existing Dutch and English interface?

Multilingual interface work is part of the published Lizzt scope. The languages, content ownership and acceptance checks for your product must be agreed separately.

Are you based in the Netherlands?

Curiosive is run from Ankara, Türkiye and works remotely. The Netherlands is the country recorded for Lizzt in the published portfolio.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

Looking for an engineering partner for the long haul?

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
