Software Development for UK Content and Browser Products

Updated

A content business may need more than a redesigned website: a maintained catalogue, a browser tool or connected application surfaces. Curiosive works remotely from Ankara, Türkiye. Our published portfolio includes UK projects Detailed SEO Extension and Roblox Den; these examples show delivered scope, not a UK office or a promise of search results.

Start with the workflow users need, the existing data source and the surfaces that must share it. We agree the work in writing before implementation, with AI assisting the code and engineers reviewing the changes.

Does the product belong on the web, in the browser, or both?

Detailed SEO Extension brings page-level checks into the browser. Roblox Den combines a searchable reference catalogue with a Chrome and Edge extension. Those are different product needs: one is an inspection tool, the other extends a changing content catalogue. Define what the extension reads, where content is maintained and how updates reach each surface before choosing a stack.

What access should a browser extension request?

Chrome distinguishes API permissions from host permissions, and its documentation recommends optional permissions where functionality permits. A new extension brief should list each required website and capability, with a reason for the access. Review permission warnings alongside the user flow rather than treating a working prototype as ready for the store.

How will catalogue pages stay useful?

For a content product, the page model, update workflow and internal links need to work together. The Roblox Den case describes a Svelte website, so it is not presented as proof of a Next.js implementation. For a new build, agree the content source, how editors mark stale entries and which destinations a reader needs. Technical SEO should support that structure; it does not guarantee rankings.

Questions

The things people ask before starting.

Do you have a UK office?

Curiosive is run from Ankara, Türkiye and works remotely. UK portfolio examples do not imply a local delivery office.

Can you extend our current website instead of replacing it?

The starting point is the existing repository, content model and release process. Define the required change and its acceptance criteria before deciding whether a replacement is necessary.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

Describe the user workflow, current website or repository, content owner and the browser capabilities you need. Existing constraints help define a useful scope.

How it starts

What happens after you write to us.

  1. 01

    You describe the product

One paragraph on what you are building, roughly when you need it, and who it is for. No brief, no form with fifteen fields.

  2. 02

You get a reply within a day

From the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team. If we are not the right fit we say so, and where possible we point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    You get a scoped plan

Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything is committed. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

No long contract to begin, no lock-in to our tooling, and the code is yours from the first commit.

A short note about the product, the timeline and who it is for is enough to start. You will hear back from the engineer who would do the work, not a sales team.
